Automated Vehicles Symposium 2018 | Richard Bishop | LinkedIn
As many of you know, I’ve had the honor of being on the Executive Committee of the Automated Vehicles Symposium since its inception. I’d like to invite you to join me and the automated vehicles community at the Automated Vehicles Symposium 2018 this July 9-12 in San Francisco.
The event, simply put, is looking AWESOME! Some very interesting speakers in automation for both passenger cars and trucks, plus the many societal, deployment, and technical factors at play. And over 30 topical breakout sessions – this, plus the carefully curated plenary speaker roster, is what sets AVS apart from any other conference out there.
In particular, don’t miss U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Elaine L. Chao and Deputy Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Heidi King as keynote speakers at the Automated Vehicles Symposium 2018. Secretary Chao will speak on Tuesday, July 10 and Ms. King will speak on Thursday, July 12.
